Our increasing disillusionment with the direction John Wells has taken The West Wing has all but knocked us out of the fic writing groove. We do, however, have a whole bunch of unfinished stories, and a few "deleted scenes" from various 'verses. Since neither Jo nor myself has any real motivation to finish these stories, we're interring them here. They're arranged by 'verse and labeled either unfinished or deleted scene.

I'd like to take a second to reiterate our sincere thanks to all y'all who supported us and made us laugh and became our friends over the years. Y'all rock.

The unfinished Innocent Kiss-era companion piece to Jo March's Donna Moss' Advice to the Lovelorn.  I loved the idea a lot, but lost the momentum to write it and never got it back.

Incomplete sequel to The Disney Version: The Bartleteers meet up at the Bartlets' place in New Hampshire for a post-administration gathering.  I really do adore this story, and though it's unfinished, the final scene is written and I think the arc of the story is clear in what we have written.

Molly wants a dog.  Though Jo and I both loved this scene, it didn't end up fitting into the story it was intended for, and was shelved for possible inclusion in a later Mollyverse story.

Meet Joss Lyman, Molly Jordan Moss-Lyman's younger brother.

Like the CJ-centric Alliance and the Sam-centric What It Is, I wanted to write a Toby-centered piece set in the Partyverse, which is far and away my favorite 'verse Jo and I have created.  This story is set in between For the Good of the Party and Persona Non Grata, the night of Gregory W. Baker's first State of the Union address.  Toby is not impressed.  Logology:  The science or study of words.

Originally written for Hour Follows Hour, Jed's point-of-view during Zoey's kidnapping was cut because it didn't fit the structure of the story, which was focused on the staffers' reactions.  I think I later intended to make this into its own story, a sort of family-version of Hour Follows Hour, but never actually wrote it.

Toby's resignation, Ryo style.  The way Toby's resignation was written in Slow News Day bugged the hell out of me, and I actually overcame my disinterest in season five long enough to draft this, but it lacks a decent denouement and, it turns out, I lack the will to finish it.

A campaign-era romp with a freshly single Josh and newly returned-to-the-campaign Donna. Sunbathing and banter.  Not sure why we stopped writing this one, since it's a fun premise.

After a long day dealing with Josh Lyman in full campaign mode, Donna's got a migraine.  This is a silly story I wrote for Em Meredith once, when she was suffering from a migraine. Not so much unfinished as unsatisfying to me, writing-wise, and thus never posted.

Campaigning in northern New Hampshire can be tough.  Especially when you accidentally get snowed in.  Whatever will the Bartleteers do to pass the time?  Why, play a game!  Cheap premise, but fun to write, since they're all still getting to know each other and the Govenor hasn't quite gotten everybody's names down yet.  Ultimately not fun enough to finish, but...

 I started writing this story in the summer of 2001 as a kind of response to a glut of hostage- and terrorism-related stories cropping up featuring stereotyped "Arab" terrorists and using the crisis as plot device to get Character A and Character B to declare their true love. This was going to deal with an American citizen being held hostage in Slovenia, and the implications for the already weakened Bartlet administration. Then September 11 happened, and I knew I'd never finish it. Looking at it now, I almost wish I'd taken it up after a year or so had passed, because some of the post-MS-revelation character stuff is interesting.

So here's a smut story without the actual smut. Oopsie! It's got the setup and the ending written, which is the problem. Note to self: never write the ending before you've written the middle, or you'll consider the story "finished" even though it's not. Still, RATED R for sexual content; please read responsibly.
