Jo | I'd like to thank everyone who voted for us and everyone who's read our stories this year; we're extremely grateful to all of you. Special thanks to the GCCA committee for doing all the hard work to put this together. Obviously, thanks to Ryo, who inspires me every day with her talent, her wit and her Lymanesque political acumen. Also, you have no idea how relieved we are that Molly won: The child is half Lyman, after all. You really don't want to be around her when she loses.

Jo & Ryo | We would like to thank, first and foremost, the creators of The West Wing: Aaron Sorkin, Bradley Whitford, Janel Moloney, Allison Janney, Richard Schiff, Martin Sheen, John Spencer, and Rob Lowe, all of whom are responsible for keeping us glued to our TV sets on Wednesday nights. And an alarming amount of nights in between, care of our extensive videotape collections. But that's another story entirely.

We'd also like to thank everyone responsible for the Golden Coffee Cup Awards, everyone who voted for us, and writers like Sary, Perri, Emily, and others who continually raise the bar for West Wing fanfiction.

Finally, we'd like to thank real life political writers like Molly Ivins, Jim Hightower, James Carville, and Vincent Bugliosi, for keeping us informed, inspired, and often in stitches.
